Expo Brings Body, Mind and Community Together
Residents across Samford, Dayboro and surrounding areas are invited to explore new ways to support their health and happiness at a series of local Wellbeing Expos launching in 2026.
The expos are designed to highlight wellbeing as more than just physical health, embracing mental, emotional and social connection as key parts of living well. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage with local practitioners and advocates through interactive experiences, talks and demonstrations covering both mainstream and alternative approaches to wellbeing.
The first expo will be held at Cedar Creek Public Hall, Closeburn, on Sunday March 8 from 9am to 4.30pm. On the day, attendees can explore a wide range of offerings including naturopathy, massage, exercise physiology, sound healing, qigong, mindful movement, natural skin care, crystal therapy, kinesiology and herbal remedies. Reiki healing, postural assessments and hands-on creative activities will also be available.
Community groups are encouraged to host free stalls, recognising the important role social connection plays in overall wellbeing. Light refreshments, drinks and lucky door prizes will be available, making it an ideal opportunity to enjoy a relaxed day in the country.
Further expos are scheduled to take place in Dayboro (Sunday 21st June) and Samford (Saturday 12th September).
